This multi layered print of Blea Tarn in the Lake District has been created through a process called Lino cutting where the image is carved into the lino and then inked before printing by hand. Each layer is cut then inked and printed before cutting away the lino further for the next colour and layer. Also known as reduction Lino printing as the lino reduces in detail as each layer is printed.
Shades of blue/green printed on brown textured paper and framed in white.
