Nature Sketching Workshop - Lincoln
17th August 2024
Service Description
Green sketching is an art movement that is helping to make the incredible benefits of sketching nature (which include mental wellbeing, nature connection, improved memory, focus and observation) accessible to all ages and abilities. As a local teacher and artist living in Lincoln I will deliver this workshop. I have a degree in Wildlife Illustration, 20 years experience teaching art and photography, and have recently become a green sketching ambassador for Dr Ali Foxon, the creator of green sketching and author of 'The Green Sketching Handbook: Relax, Unwind and Reconnect with Nature'. The two and half hour session will allow you to emerge yourself in the benefits of joy spotting alongside learning observational skills which you will be able to use again and again. Even in a city nature thrives and we will head out looking to find its beauty all in the proximity of Lincoln's beautiful Cathedral.
